Tickets to Fly to Tulum Airport Are Now on Sale
The new Felipe Carrillo Puerto TQO Airport project has not yet opened its doors to the public, but tickets to fly to Tulum Airport are now on sale.
With the completion of the Felipe Carrillo Puerto de Tulum International Airport in sight, airlines have begun to sell the first tickets to connect with this new terminal.
Although Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador plans to fly from Felipe Ángeles International Airport for the inauguration ceremony, other airlines will begin operations before this event.
The First Airlines to Land in Tulum
Aeroméxico and Viva Aerobús are ready to be the first to operate in the TQO terminal, even before the official arrival of the president.
Viva Aerobús will be the pioneer, with its inaugural flight scheduled for December 1 at 8:00 am, departing from Felipe Ángeles International Airport and landing in Tulum at 11:15 am, travelers have found flights at a price from $909 pesos (approximately US$52.87).
For its part, Aeroméxico will also launch its first flight on the same day, taking off at 8:30 am and arriving in Tulum at 11:30 am, some passengers have found flights with a cost of $3,985 pesos (around US$231.41).

International Connections to Tulum
Delta Airlines has distinguished itself as the first international airline to announce services to Tulum International Airport (TQO), with direct flights from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) beginning March 28.
Along these same lines, Spirit Airlines, another major player in American aviation, plans to launch direct flights to Tulum from its bases in Florida, including Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

Tickets to Fly to Tulum Airport Are Now on Sale
American Airlines, expanding the connectivity network, has confirmed daily operations to Tulum starting March 28, 2024.
This schedule includes two daily flights from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), one daily service from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and one additional daily flight from Miami International Airport (MIA).
This advance represents a substantial increase in flight options for those who wish to visit Tulum, facilitating its access to international tourists.
Although tickets to fly to Tulum Airport are now on sale, international airlines will not fly to Tulum until March 2024.
